Justin Gambino faced a tough decision at a young age when he was given the choice to either serve jail time for a felony or do community service and have a misdemeanor on his record. He chose the latter and also signed up for a branch of the military as an alternative. This decision ultimately shaped his future and led him to a path of redemption and service. Justin’s experiences have inspired him to use his music to uplift and connect with others, sharing his journey of overcoming adversity and finding hope. Through his music, Justin Gambino is making a positive impact and spreading a message of resilience and second chances.

“Gambino’s testimony is a consistent theme in his music and ministry. A rebellious teen, he was arrested for theft at the age of 18. Opting for military enlistment and community service in lieu of incarceration, he spent eight years in the US Navy. While serving in Iraq, Gambino was asked to lead worship on base, rekindling a love for music he first embraced as a child. Battling PTSD and anger issues following his military service, Gambino turned to alcohol and spiraled into depression and despair. One night, on the floor of his apartment, he cried out to God for help and a new journey of redemption, hope and purpose began.
